Two-pronged expansion strategy for Tropical Shipping

The West Palm Beach (FL)-based ocean carrier Tropical Shipping has expanded its LCL and FCL consolidation services, both organically and through acquisition. First, the carrier, which specialises in the door-to-door movement of cargoes between the US/Canada and both the Caribbean and Bahamas, has expanded its LCL cargo facility at West Palm Beach substantially this year. The amount of warehousing space at the facility has increased by 76,000ft~2 up to 107,836ft~2, and the number of bay doors from nine to 29.
