Indonesia revokes coal export tax

Indonesia's small and mid-size coal producers are looking forward to a more competitive market after the country's supreme court ruled that the existing 5 pct coal export tax is unlawful and should be revoked. The ruling follows a petition filed by the Indonesian coal mining association, protesting against the tax introduced last December by the finance ministry.
