US premium pellet exports to Germany rose more than eightfold on the month in January,according to federal statistics office Destatis. The US shipped more than 7,800t of premium pellets to Germany in January—the second highest monthly level since July 2013.The US exported no pellets to Germany in January 2013. The other main exporters to Germany in January were Denmark,with more than 6,000t,and the Netherlands and Belgium,each with over 3,000t.Overall,Germany exported just over 36,200t in January and imported slightly under 33,000t.
