Atlantic Basin Industrial: spot at record low

Spot prices for wood pellets delivered into the Amsterdam- Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region tumbled $4.93/t in the week down to $129.50/t, the frst time it has fallen below $130/t since Argus assessments began. Spot buying interest is still scant but any buyers in the market are looking to repeat last week’s deal price level of ?110/t cif ARA. A large handysize deal for spot delivery was concluded in the week on a US-dollar basis in the mid $120s/t — equivalent to around ?110/t cif ARA.
