Hutchison in show of support for Thamesport

Hutchison Ports has unveiled plans to convert its under-used Thamesport into a multipurpose facility able to handle steel products as well as containers. The loss of some major customers in recent years had cast doubt over the future of Thamesport, east of London on the River Medway, with rivals wondering if the terminal might be sold or mothballed.
