Ukraine mulls biomass increase

Increased biomass power generation in Ukraine could slash gas dependency by 18pc,the ministry of regional development said. Ukraine has around 27mn t of untapped biomass fuel, including straw and other materials in its fields,the ministry noted during discussions in Kiev over the country’s energy security.
