Trade remained slow between Latin America and other markets this week, with some Caribbean destinations import- ing product from the US Gulf coast. A downturn in regional demand has pushed many tankers out of the area. A 6,000dwt tanker loaded in Mobile, Alabama on 19 Novem- ber and looked set to deliver into Costa Rica on 24 November. Costa Rica’s state run refner Recope, which imports all its asphalt product, set retail prices for AC-30 at C216.23/L, or roughly $362.54/st.
