Europe:prompt prices bounce higher

Prompt prices pushed back higher this week in the Euro- pean markets,with the spot index for pellets delivered into the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp(ARA)region climbing to well above the$180/t level. But a split in the market remained,between lower- priced smaller volumes from local sources on the one hand, and prices for transatlantic cargoes on the other.Supplies of the latter remained limited,but at the same time it re- mained to be seen how much buying interest would emerge in the near months.
