The sale of three of German wood-pellet plants owned by bankrupt producer German Pellets was completed Friday and all three are now producing. US private equity fund Metropolitan Equity Partners acquired the 256,000 t/yr Wismar plant, while German pulp producer JRS has taken over the 128,000 t/yr Ettenheim and 256,000 t/yr Herbrechtingen facilities.
