Pellet producer German Pellets has acquired Nord Energie in order to expand its business in northern Germany and southern Denmark, the company said today. German Pellets took over the pellet trading activity of Nord Energie, including its vehicle fleet and pellet storage resources. Nord Energie’s base in Schleswig-Holstein enables German Pellets the opportunity to further expand the business in southern Denmark, German Pellets managing director Peter Leibold said. The customers and workforce of Nord Energie will be integrated into German Pellets’ existing network.
