Highland starts construction at Arkansas plant

US wood pellet producer Highland Pellets has started construction at its 600,000 t/yr plant in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, chairman Tom Reilley said. The pellet production plant will consist of four, 150,000 t/yr production lines. The first line is due to be commissioned in November, with the rest of the lines to be brought on line 3-4 months after the first.
