The first of the 11 cargoes awarded to Lebanese trading firm Bitco under the EGPC tender to import 11 cargoes into Alexandria was scheduled to be delivered into the Mediterranean port on 17-19 April. The cargoes of Pen 50/70 bitumen, each of them 3,500-4,000t, are for delivery from second half of April through June. They were exclusively awarded to Bitco in late March/early April at a $25.5/t premium to fob Mediterranean high-sulphur fuel oil prices for seven of the cargoes and at +$23.5/t for the remaining four cargoes, on a delivered basis into onshore tanks at Alexandria.
