We've all witnessed the affect COVID-19 has had on our industry in 2020, and we've all seen how people have adjusted and improvised to overcome the difficulties of selling cattle this year. Often it meant scaling back or changing venues or postponingsales. One of those affected sales was the Avonlea Summer Splash V, the next in a sale series managed by Andrew and Jennifer Vander Meulen of Brighton, Ontario. The July 18th sale date had been announced in late December for the event to be held at their farm, home to the Avonlea Jersey herd.
