NWA joins the big vessels slowdown

The members of the New World Alliance (NWA), APL, MOL and HHM, have joined the growing list of ocean carriers seeking to cut fuel costs between Asia and Europe through reduced vessel speed. They will introduce a ninth vessel into some of their joint services during the first quar-ter of this year, thereby increasing transit time by an average of 3.5 days in each direction.
