Evergreen recommits to Kaohsiung port

Evergreen Marine Corp (EMC), which is one of the largest customers in the port of Kaohsiung (Taiwan), has renewed its lease on berths 115 and 116 at Terminal 4 (T4). The extension means that EMC will operate the 206,480m2 site, which has 596m of berthing line with a depth alongside of 14m, until end February 2018. Currently, cargo-handling operations are performed with six post-pan-amax ship-to-shore gantry cranes and 26 rail-mounted yard gantries.
