As with the tradelane between Asia and Northern Europe, ocean carriers have started to bring back services to the Mediterranean. The CHKY alliance has re-introduced a third weekly service between the Far East and the Mediterranean. Started at the end of March, the MD3 service deploys a fleet of 8 x 5,600TEU vessels calling at Busan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Yantian, Singapore, Port Said, La Spezia, Barcelona, Valencia, Algeciras, Port Said, Singapore, and Busan.
