FORETELLING THE FUTURE

Craig Jallat Looks at three possible scenarios of how 2013 could pan out through the lens of Containerisation International's readers Since 2000, there have been 19 predictions that the world would end. The latest was December 21,2012, which proves that the only thing we can predict with certainty is that predictions are more often than not incorrect. We accept that, but we still need to plan for the future. Containerisation International is taking the Delphic approach, with the help of its readers via blogs and Linkedln, to look at the shape of 2013. This involves the development of three scenarios: Just like 2012 (normal case), lacking leadership (low case), and turning a corner (high case).
