Mootral to introduce climate-friendly feed additive this year, receives funding

Swiss start-up Mootral will launch its first product to selected markets in late 2019.As an initial step, Cargill will expand its partnership with The Nature Conservancy and work with farmers and ranchers to demonstrate how grazing management planningand adaptive management improves sustainability outcomes. These practices have also been shown to help producers be more resilient during extreme weather events.Cargill is also sponsoring the Yield Lab Institute's Manure Innovation Challenge, which will connect start-ups and companies to create solutions that capture the value from manure-based nutrients.
