Ceva expands reach of IDT swine vaccine across Europe

Ceva Sante Animale is set to launch Salmoporc vaccine for pigs in 12 European countries, following its acquisition of IDT Biologika.The live attenuated vaccine was developed by German business IDT and is indicated for use against Salmonella typhimurium in pigs. It can be administered orally in piglets and via subcutaneous injection in sows. Ceva will launch Salmoporc in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic and the UK throughout the remainder of 2019. This is the first example of Ceva's ability to take IDT's vaccine portfolio to a wider customer base.
