FINANCIAL NEWS. Jan-Mar 2008. Fiat Group reported a 9.9% rise in revenue for Q1-2008 to {EUR}15bn with all industrial businesses contributing to the increase. Trading profit was 28.7% higher and net profit grew by 13.6% to {EUR}427m. Fiat Auto reported an 8.3% revenue increase to {EUR}6.8bn helped by a 4.1% rise in sales. The division's trading profit grew by just 0.5% to {EUR}193m meaning the margin slipped from 3% to 2.8%. Q1-07 included a non-recurring gain of {EUR}40m and Q1-08 included a {EUR}40m non-recurring expense.
