FINANCIAL NEWS. Year to Dec 2007. PSA reported a good improvement in recurring profit for 2007, though it remains very much at the start of its recovery plan. Group revenue rose by 7.1% to {EUR}60.6bn. The Automobile division reported a 6.5% increase to {EUR}47.46bn, reflecting increased volumes and improvements in price and product mix. The reported group operating profit of {EUR}1,120m included non-recurring expense of {EUR}632m (2006: {EUR}808m), mainly in connection with restructuring. On a recurring basis group operating profit was {EUR}1,752m, a 2.9% margin, compared with 2% in 2006. In H2-2007 the margin was 3.1%, exceeding the objective announced in July 2007.
