Ceva backs Velactis in markets outside of Europe despite latest CVMP setback

Ceva Sante Animale's Velactis has been prevented from re-entering the European market.The European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use (CVMP) has adopted a negative final opinion for a type II variation application for Velactis.Earlier this year, the CVMP refused a variation to the terms of the marketing authorization for the product. This latest ruling is the CVMP's final say on the matter.
