US researchers developing 'superior' brucellosis vaccine, eye commercial partnerships

Researchers at the University of Florida are developing a vaccine for ruminants against brucellosis. Brucellosis causes abortion and sterility, leading to significant industry losses. The disease also poses a threat to human health, especially in developing regions where it can be transmitted through the consumption of unpasteurized milk and milk products.
