'Armorique' A 980-lane metre, 1,500-passenger Ro-Pax Ferry for year-round traffic in the English Channel

Ro-Pax ferry 'Armorique' was delivered in January from STX Europe's Helsinki yard in Finland to its French owner/operator Brittany Ferries. The vessel is worth approximately 110 million Euros and has provided some 700 man-years of work for the yard. This new type of ferry has been developed by STX Europe in close cooperation with Brittany Ferries. She will be particularly fuel efficient as well as environmentally friendly by keeping CO_2 emissions to a minimum.
