New look 'Queen of the Netherlands' back at Port Phillip

A new and improved 'Queen of the Netherlands' arrived back in Melbourne, Australia on April 8 as part of the channel deepening project in Port Phillip. The 'Queen', which is the project's main dredger, has returned from dry dock in Singapore where she underwent pre-planned, mid-ship lengthening and reconstruction works, turning her into one of the world's largest dredging vessels. The 'Queen' is among the world's most technologically advanced dredging vessels and the largest in the fleet of about 300 operated by international dredging company, Royal Boskalis Westminster.
