Several buyers stepped in late last week to cover part of their UAN requirements for spring 2019. Most have now covered 30-40pc of the tonnage needed for February-March delivery, paying prices around €237/t fca Rouen for UAN 30 for February and €243/t fca for March. Prices are high but there is little immediate prospect of a decrease and large buyers need to have some coverage.
