NFL is in the market for a prompt DAP cargo to import, but has only asked those suppliers initially awarded under its purchase tender for 500,000t that closed on 29 June. Under the previous tender, three traders, Aries, Ameropa and Midgulf were awarded 150,000t each. But prices were not agreed and NFL resorted to smaller spot tenders. The last, for 100,000t, was awarded to Aries at close to $427/t cfr under its tender that closed on 19 September.
