Trading Corporation of Pakistan has issued a tender, closing on 15 October, to buy 100,000t of urea. Traders say that the shortfall in urea supply for rabi will total close to 650,000t, of which some 400,000t will be covered by increased local production. However, further tenders are anticipated for up to 150,000t of urea for shipment December-January.
