Producers in Northwest Europe are comfortable thanks to healthy demand from European buyers and reduced operating rates at several plants. OCI is sold out of Fibrant’s granular amsul for June shipment, and has raised asking prices for July cargoes by €5/t for European buyers. In France, 3mm amsul is on offer at €212/t cpt, and 2mm at €186-187/t cpt. In Germany, asking prices are at €205/t cif inland for 3mm product and €179- 181/t cif inland for 2mm.
