According to the EIA, the national average retail price for regular gasoline was $3.704/gal on June 30, steady on the week, while RFG's national average was $3.85/gal, a 1￠/gal rise on the week. Houston, Texas' $3.462/gal was the lowest price for both regular gasoline and RFG, while Los Angeles, California's $4.193/gal was the highest for both grades. Meanwhile, the national average diesel price inched up 0.1￠/gal on the week to $3.92/gal, to a five-week high. California had the highest-priced diesel, at $4.138/gal, while the PADD 3 (Gulf Coast) region had the lowest-priced diesel, at S3.816/gal.
