Canada's largest pipeline company is considering the construction of a unit train unloading terminal and a pipeline receipt point in Illinois, US, according to a filing with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The unloading terminal will if built have a capacity of 140K b/d-enough to handle two unit trains daily-and be located at the origin of Enbridge's new 600K-b/d Flanagan South Pipeline in Pontiac, Illinois. The company is also seeking permission for a receipt point on its Lakehead pipeline system in nearby Flanagan, Illinois, to load crude into Flanagan South.
