Immigrants with HIV may face death if deported from UK

Deporting immigrants who have HIV or AIDS threatens not only the global goal of achieving universal access to treatment but also their lives, concludes a reporj; launched in parliament this week by a group of health and human rights charities.The report, compiled by Human Rights Watch, Deutsche AIDS-Hilfe, the European AIDS Treatment Group, and the African HIV Policy Network, describes thousands of cases worldwide of HIV positive migrants being deported. It sets out the need to develop policies guaranteeing uninterrupted treatment for this group.
