摘要

Our colorful cover features an immunofluorescence assay from liver tissues of the humanized mice infected with HCV. The liver tissues were stained with anti-CD19 antibody, anti-IL-10 antibody and DAPI. The image is taken from Liu et al. (pp. 1350-1361), where the authors show that HCV induced IL-10 producing B (BIO) cells in the liver tissues. Moreover, HCV-induced B10 cells were enriched in CD19~hi and CDld~hiCD5+ cell populations. HCV predominantly triggered the TLR2-MyD88-NF-kappaB and AP-1 signaling pathways to drive IL-10 production by B cells. Targeting B10 cells via neutralization of IL-10 might offer a novel strategy to enhance anti-HCV immunotherapy. The original mage was digitally modified for the cover.
