摘要

In this paper, the kinetics of [AuCl_4]~- ions loading onto activated carbon (Norit GF-40) was investigated. Investigations were carried out under different initial concentration of gold(III) chloride complex ions, temperature and rate of mixing. The progress of the process was monitored spectrophotometrically. From the changes of gold(III) ions concentration the kinetic curves, were derived and consequently the rate constants for the investigated process were obtained. Also, the possible influence of gold preloaded onto carbon on the adsorption process was demonstrated.
