Toray Fine Chemicals to Boost Production With Flow Synthesis

Toray Fine Chemicals Co. Ltd. is looking to actively adopt flow synthesis in its production of chemical products. The company’s efforts here are set to begin in 2022, when the company intends to implement flow synthesis at a production facility for polythiol – a fast-curing agent for epoxy resin – within a factory in Japan. This is expected to boost annual production capacity at the facility from 600 tons up to 1,600 tons.
