To compare the efficacy of intravaginal controlled released Dinoprostone Pessary in term nullipara and multipara

To compare the efficacy of intravaginal controlled released dinoprostone pessary which is used to obtain cervical ripening and induction of labour in nulliparous and multiparous women for whom termination of pregnancy is planned for some medical and obstetrical complications. MATERIALS-METHODS: 41 multiparous and 39 nulliparous women were included in this study. Eligibility criteria were defined as being more than 37 weeks of gestation, single, viable fetus with cephalic presentation, intact membranes, Bishop score less than 4 on admission, no previous uterine scars. A successful outcome was defined as an increase of Bishop score equal to or more than 3 within 12 hours, Bishop score of more than 6 at the end of 12 hours or occurring of delivery within 12 hours.
