Uterine incision for anterior placenta previa without placenta accreta.

Dear Editor,The "transplacental approach" should be avoided in cesarean section for placenta previa (pp) accreta. This emphasis appears to have created an atmosphere that the "transplacental approach" is contraindicated even in pp without accreta. Is upper uterine body incision or fundal incision necessary in anterior pp with a very low possibility of accreta, i.e., a primiparous woman with no prior uterine surgery and no accreta signs?
