Asia: ArvinMeritor aims to boost business with local vehicle manufacturers

ARVINMERITOR is aiming to triple its business with Asia-based vehicle manufacturers over the next five years as well as reduce its costs, according to a report carried by the Associated Press. The company is said to currently generate 47% of its revenue from North America and 38% from Europe, while Asia accounts for only 9%. The company wants to bring Asia, Europe and North American revenue to approximately one-third each and will look at acquisitions or joint ventures with Asian automotive manufacturers to realise its goal.
