Indonesia: Selamat Sempurna and Andhi Chandra Automotive Products prepare for merger

INDONESIAN vehicle component manufacturers Selamat Sempurna and Andhi Chandra Automotive Products (ACAP) intend to merge their businesses, Antara News has reported, citing a Capital Market Supervisory Agency official. The merger is expected to become effective after a shareholders' extraordinary meeting held at both companies approved it, the report stated. The total number of shares from the merger will stand at 141,000,060 and be listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) on 2 January 2007.
