US: Cummins Westport to supply 531 engines for bus fleet

CALIFORNIA'S Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) has ordered 531 engines from Cummins Westport (CWI) for its transit bus fleets. The order includes both the 2007 ISL G and the C Gas Plus engine models. Gordon Exel, CWI's vice president and general manager for the Americas, said this is the second major order for the company's new 2007 ISL G. The installation of the engines will begin in March.
