US: Mitsubishi Electric announces expansion of alternator capacity

MITSUBISHI Electric Automotive America (MEAA) has increased its manufacturing capacity of heavy-duty alternators and starters with an expansion of its existing facilities, Canadian business information publisher Newcom Business Media has reported. The production expansion will support its North American heavy-duty starter and alternator business, the company says. Certain products has been moved to the new facility since May and the process is expected to be completed by the end of 2006.
