Triple M, ArcelorMittal enter into scrap JV

ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada and Triple M Metal are joining forces in a joint venture that will combine the recycling eforts of the two companies in Quebec. The new company - Integrated Metal Recycling Inc - will combine Brampton, Ontario-based Triple M's Metrobec asset and ArcelorMittal's four Legault Metal sites, which were acquired in 2019. Integrated Metal Recycling will buy, process and sell ferrous and nonferrous scrap.
