SCANIA and DAF trucks will now feature Iteris' Lane Departure Warning (LDW) technology as an option. Scania will offer Iteris' LDW system in its new long-haul Rseries and P-series models, with the system being installed at its factory in Oskarshamn, Sweden. Initial production is expected to begin in January 2007. DAF will offer the system in its CF and XF series model lines, with initial production expected to start in March 2007. DAF will install the system at its production facilities in Westerlo, Belgium.
