US: Blue Water acquires Injectronics' automotive business

BLUE Water Automotive Systems, an affiliate of private equity investing firm KPS Speciality Situations Funds, has acquired the automotive business of Injectronics, which manufactures highly engineered injection moulding products, for a yet undisclosed amount. Blue Water supplies highly engineered thermoplastic components and assemblies for the automotive industry. The acquisition of Injectronics is expected to broaden Blue Water's customer base, increase its critical mass, and further its transformation into an integrated, full-service design, engineering and manufacturing enterprise, the company stated.
