Germany: TT Electronics to expand Dresden plant

IN order to meet the growing demands for its new sensor technologies, TT Electronics plans to extend its sensor manufacturing facility near Dresden, Germany, by 25,000sq ft. "We are excited by the overall increase in the level of demand we are seeing for sensors developed by our skilled engineers in Germany who continue to work closely with our customers. We are confident that further investment in this business will underpin its long-term strength," said executive chairman John Newman. According to the company, the Dresden facility had been very successful in developing a wide range of temperature and pressure sensors, including specialist high temperature sensors for emission controls for cars and heavy goods vehicles.
