China: Great Wall may enter licence agreement with Antonov

ANTONOV has announced that under the terms of its option agreement, Great Wall Motor may enter into a licence agreement for Antonov's six-speed automatic transmission patents any time before the expiration of the six-month option agreement period. The terms of the licence agreement will be reasonably negotiated to the satisfaction of Great Wall. This news follows Antonov's announcement on 9 January 2006 that it had entered into an option agreement with Great Wall for six months, during which it would make Great Wallspecified transmission designs.
