Trading of CME Group’s Midwest No1 busheling ferrous scrap futures opened the week with 69 lots (1,380 gross tons) sold on Monday March 9, down from the 207 lots (4,140 gross tons) that traded on Friday March 6. No lots were traded for March expiration, leaving the price unchanged $294 per gross ton, while August was the most actively traded month with 20 lots sold at $273 per ton, down $15 per ton from Friday, according to a daily report from the exchange.
