Record Breaking Temperatures

According to the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Earth's mean land surface temperature in June 2010 was the 2nd highest on record for the thermometer era. The first six months of 2010 continued to be the hottest on record: 0.90℃ above the 1951-80 average. The old record was for 2007, at +0.80℃, followed by 2005 and 1988, both at +0.77℃.
