BATE first had the opportunity to meet with management and staff of the Hampton Inn, Norwood, Massachusetts (USA) in 2008, on the occasion of that hotel's launching its environmental sustainability program. That location, a Saunders Hotel Group property, has taken considerable steps to embrace environmental stewardship to its fullest.
