The United States domestic ferrous scrap trade for March is showing signs of upward momentum as the extreme winter weather blanketing the whole of the United States continues to disrupt cross-country scrap flows. From river to railcar, scrap shipments have stalled amid severe snowstorms, which has left recyclers frustrated that they cannot ship scrap. Many have reported that they will be late on their orders for February due to a lack of incoming raw material or the inability to deliver it.
